What is my current net worth?

Your net worth is your accumulated assets less all your accumulated liabilities. Some examples to help you work out your net worth are as follows:

Liabilities

Lifestyle assets – i.e. your home, contents, motor vehicles, holiday home, boat, caravan

Mortgage, credit cards, personal loans, line of credit, interest-free loans, after-pay.

Nest egg assets (cash, shares, super, investment properties, managed funds) / loans that were borrowed to purchase/fund these assets

 

Nest egg liabilities - Investment loans, margin loans, line of credit

 

Active assets/liabilities - Business assets

Loans for the business and business assets

Total

 

Net Worth = Total assets – Total Liabilities
