There is no right answer on how much you should save or spend. There are some people who spend all their earnings and this may not be due to a lavish lifestyle, it could be due to economic circumstances or their ability to earn an income. There are also people who save as much as they can. Either doesn’t make one person better than the other, it's about doing what is right for you and not spending more then you earn. In short, you have to find the balance suited to your circumstances between living for today, and also saving some for tomorrow so that you can meet future goals too.
